In addition, we will continue to:

  • Provide support to grassroots groups opposing plans that threaten historic and scenic treasures that give localities their sense of place.

  • Offer technical advice to citizens or localities wanting to preserve community character by instituting controls on billboards, cell towers, and light pollution.

  • Present “Scenic Virginia Works!” whenever requested. The educational slide show reminds citizens of Virginia’s extraordinary beauty while offering ways to improve their own communities.
