Current Projects Richmond Viewshed Project Nearly Complete, Was Inspiration for Statewide Viewshed Register In Spring 2005, a private Richmond foundation awarded Scenic Virginia a $15,000 challenge grant to develop a Scenic River Corridor Viewshed Management Plan for the portion of the James River that runs through the City of Richmond. Scenic Virginia is currently seeking matching funds to produce an inventory of the natural and scenic assets along the riverfront that will then be used to develop guidelines for riverfront use, including access to the river, development where appropriate, trails, and wildlife habitat.
