Scenic Virginia invites partners and friends to our first annual roundtable on Wednesday, May 13, at Montpelier, from 10am - 12pm.

This inaugural gathering will bring together those committed to preserving the Commonwealth’s scenic landscapes at a time when development pressures are increasing across communities.

The discussion will focus on practical strategies for identifying scenic assets, clearly communicating potential impacts, and proactively mitigating change. Participants will work toward a shared understanding of how to recognize and protect important viewsheds before they are threatened, helping to preserve the character and beauty of Virginia’s landscapes.

The goal of the event is both educational and action-oriented: ensuring that each attendee leaves with a specific scenic view in mind for nomination to Scenic Virginia’s Treasured Views Program.
